Baume & Mercier has shown a tendency to engage in collaboration since William Baume met Paul Mercier in 1912. Today, more than ever, Baume & Mercier intends on asserting its concept of watchmaking: its openness to other realms and the world in general; its way of keeping up with the times, in real time; and its refusal to compromise the attention brought to developing creativity within the House. In a collective, collabora-tive, responsible approach, the Brand launches projects where watchmaking resonates with artistic crea-tivity. This leads to concerted considerations of today’s design challenges, necessarily taking environmen-tal issues into account; the combination of different experiences and types of expertise; and the explora-tion of new possibilities and innovations.

Baume & Mercier is proud and honored to pay tribute to one of the great masters of modern art. The Maison takes inspiration from his work as a whole to produce a unique timepiece, an original creation: the Hampton “Hommage à Pierre Soulages.”

The Baume collection continues its story under the principles of sustainability, a circular economy and environmental protection by the launch of a new special edition of its upcycled timepiece. Following the success of a first Baume Skate – HRS edition timepiece in 2018, and the Baume Ski – Zag Editions in 2019, the Maison is gearing up to unveil a new “swiss made” Baume Skate timepiece in collaboration with the young and talented French skateboarder Aurelien Giraud.
BAUME OCEAN X WASTE FREE OCEANS ECO-RESPONSIBILITY AND INNOVATION
BAUME & MERCIER continues its commitment to the planet with the launch of a new model: the BAUME OCEAN Limited Edition. Available in two color versions, blue and green, this new BAUME watch is created in collaboration with Waste Free Oceans (WFO) and SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, two partners that collect plastic debris from the seas to transform them into innovative products. The BAUME OCEAN Limited Edition represents the combination of balanced design, technical expertise and a unique vision of watchmaking that inspires the Maison on a daily basis.
